# Meta Business Verification

Meta Business Verification confirms your business's authenticity and unlocks advanced features in WhatsApp Business API.

## **1. Why Verify?**

* Access advanced API features.
* Build trust with customers via a **Verified Green Tick Badge**.
* Avoid account restrictions.

## **2. Steps for Meta Business Verification**

1. Go to the **Security Center** in Facebook Business Manager.
2. Click on **‘Start Verification’**.
3. Submit the following:
   * Business Registration Document
   * Proof of Address
   * Contact Information
4. Wait for verification approval.

## **3. Verification Status**

* **Approved:** Proceed with setup.
* **Rejected:** Review the rejection reasons and resubmit.
